Co-curricular Activities

The Lowry Academy is proud to offer a diverse and varied programme of co-curricular activities.  There are a wide variety of clubs and activities on offer at lunchtime and after school. Everything from Drama Club and Chess Club through to Science, Cooking, Football, Basketball, Running, Gardening, History, Music and Debate Clubs.

As part of our whole school initiative to provide a rich and varied curriculum to all students, we encourage all students to participate in at least one after school or lunchtime activity per week. Taking part in clubs will help students make new friends, build key life skills like teamwork and resilience whilst having a lot of fun. These skills and experiences will help 'stand out from the crowd' when applying for college and university too.

This is an example of a previous co-curricular timetable. Our new timetable for Autumn 2024 will be released soon.
