We are delighted to announce that The Lowry Academy has become a Music Mark School, which is awarded in recognition of a commitment to providing a high-quality music education for all children and young people.

Head of Music, Miss Clifton, commented on the accolade, saying; “This is a wonderful testimony to our talented students as they continue to embrace all aspects of music at The Lowry Academy. We are looking forward to working with Music Mark to continue to provide an excellent education.”

Music Mark is a membership organisation, Subject Association, and an Arts Council England Investment Principles Support Organisation (IPSO) advocating for excellent musical learning in and out of school. Their vision is for accessible and excellent musical learning and engagement, inspiring and enriching the lives of all children and young people.
