Last week, the Lowry Library had the absolute pleasure of hosting the Frazzle-fiend himself, Phil Earle, the acclaimed children’s author!

He visited The Lowry Academy to deliver a hilarious set of talks to our lucky Year 7s, about how he “accidentally” became an author and how a tube-station announcement, and the world’s “most boring” pamphlet gave him inspiration for some of his most brilliant stories, many of which we have in the Lowry Library and online in our eBook library!

Later, he kindly signed some of his brand new posters and bookmarks in the library at lunchtime, where he got to talk manga, poetry, and sci-fi with some of our excited students. He was sensational!
